Quality Resource Systems, Inc. (QRS) maintains the Area Resource File (ARF) System under contract to the National Center for Health Workforce Analysis (NCHWA), Bureau of Health Professions within the Health Resources and Services Administration. Funding for the ARF is provided by NCHWA/BHPr and several other agencies within the Department of Health and Human Services, including — AHRQ, CMS (formerly HCFA), NCHS and HRSA/OPE.
